Give your ISP customers hotspot access through Splynx
Active Splynx ISP customers can log in to your Powerlynx hotspot using their existing credentials — no separate plan required.
How it works
The Splynx integration allows active Splynx ISP customers to access Wi-Fi hotspots managed by Powerlynx without purchasing a separate plan. When a customer connects to the hotspot, they see a login option on the captive portal: they can either sign up as a new customer or click “I’m a customer of {ISP name}” to log in using their Splynx credentials.
Powerlynx checks the customer’s status in Splynx after login. Active customers are granted access — a voucher is automatically created in Powerlynx using the data plan you configure for this integration. Blocked or inactive Splynx customers are not authorized and can return to sign up as a new customer.
Setup requires two parts. In Splynx (version 4.3 or newer), navigate to Config / Integrations / Add-ons and install the splynx-powerlynx package. After installation, open the module settings under Config / Integrations / Modules list, copy the Powerlynx Authentication Token, and set the relevant country calling codes for phone number conversion to international format.
In Powerlynx, navigate to Config / System / Integrations / Splynx. Enter the Splynx external authentication URL (your Splynx server URL followed by /powerlynx), paste the authentication token, and set the ISP name shown to customers on the splash page. Then go to Locations, open the Payment Gateways tab for the target location, enable the Splynx integration, and select the data plan that will be used to create the voucher.
Add your Splynx URL to the Walled Garden on your hotspot router so customers can reach the Splynx login page during authentication.
