Accept card, EFT, and mobile payments at your captive portal via PayFast
Card, Instant EFT, MTN MoMo, and Mukuru Pay at the captive portal. South African gateway with sandbox testing and per-location account configuration.
How it works
PayFast connects to Powerlynx via three credentials from your PayFast merchant account: Merchant ID, Merchant Key, and Salt Passphrase. Navigate to Config / Finance / Payment Gateways / PayFast in Powerlynx and enter these values. A sandbox environment is available for testing before switching to the live account — use sandbox credentials for testing, and live credentials for production.
PayFast supports multiple payment methods including MTN MoMo, card payments, Instant EFT, Mukuru Pay, and more — the full list is available on the PayFast website. Payment methods are managed from within the PayFast merchant dashboard.
Per-location configuration is supported — different PayFast merchant accounts can be linked to different hotspot locations within a single Powerlynx instance.
