Accept card and EFT payments at your captive portal via Netcash

How it works

Netcash connects to Powerlynx via a single Service Key from the Netcash Pay Now connector. To find it, open your Netcash account and navigate to Account Profile → NetConnector → Pay Now.

Beyond the Service Key, you must configure payment notification URLs in the Netcash dashboard — Accept URL, Decline URL, Notify URL, and Redirect URL — all using your Powerlynx base URL in the format shown in the documentation. Without this step, payments will not confirm correctly in Powerlynx.

Payment methods available to your customers such as credit card, bank EFT, 1Voucher, and others — are controlled directly from the Netcash dashboard under Account Profile → NetConnector → Pay Now. You can enable or disable methods without making any changes in Powerlynx.

Walled Garden hosts for Netcash are extensive and cover all major South African banks and 3D secure infrastructure. These must be added to your hotspot router — full lists for both MikroTik and Cudy are provided in the Netcash documentation page.
