Accept M-PAiSA mobile money payments at your captive portal

How it works

M-PAiSA connects to Powerlynx via the Client ID and Client secret issued during your Vodafone Fiji merchant onboarding. Navigate to Config / Finance / Payment gateways / M-PAiSA in Powerlynx, enter both values, and choose the Live or Staging environment. The gateway appears in the list only when Fiji is selected under Config / System / Localization.

At checkout the customer is sent to Vodafone’s own payment page, where they enter their wallet details and confirm. Powerlynx does not ask for a phone number beforehand. Payment is confirmed by querying M-PAiSA for the transaction status, so a voucher is issued even if the customer closes the browser on Vodafone’s page.

M-PAiSA can be set as the default account for all locations or linked to a single location, and is then enabled per location in the Payment Gateways tab.

Client ID (M-PAiSA Business ID) and Client secret, both issued by Vodafone during merchant onboarding.
