Accept cash PIN payments at your captive portal via 1Voucher

How it works

1Voucher is a prepaid digital payment voucher that converts cash into a PIN. Users purchase a voucher at a retail store and enter the PIN at the Powerlynx captive portal to pay for their selected data plan.

If the voucher value is higher than the data plan price, 1Voucher automatically generates a new voucher for the remaining balance and sends it to the customer’s phone number. For example, if a plan costs R5 and the user pays with a R100 voucher, a new R95 voucher is issued and sent via SMS.

To connect 1Voucher, navigate to Config / Finance / Payment Gateways / 1Voucher in Powerlynx and enter your merchant credentials. The country must be set to South Africa under Config / System / Localization before 1Voucher appears as an option.
