Launched in 2024, it is built by the team behind Splynx — a global provider of ISP billing and network management systems.

## What makes Powerlynx different

Powerlynx is designed specifically for monetizing public Wi-Fi in underserved, cash-based, and low-infrastructure environments. While most competitors focus on card-based Western markets, Powerlynx integrates natively with local cash payment systems such as 1Voucher, Safaricom M-Pesa, MTN MoMo, and OTT Voucher. This enables ISPs and venue operators to generate revenue in rural and developing regions where customers do not have credit cards.
